A series that marked the revival of Missouri and Illinois football programs to glory is about to come to an end (at least for a while). As of now, the 2010 State Farm Rivalry game is the last scheduled one between Missouri and Illinois.
Last year was a growth year for the young Missouri Tigers. Blaine Gabbert had a nice first season as a starter, but injuries and inconsistencies cost the Tigers some wins.
Illinois didn't live up to expectations, but it's a new year and they have talent, so they hope to kickoff the season with a win against their border state foe.
